Collectors who wanted the odds said plainly.
Cardonomics is built by collectors who open packs, send cards to grade and bid in live auctions — and kept wishing somebody would just tell them the numbers before they spent the money.
Every collector knows the moment: a card that might be a ten, a box that might hold the chase, an auction with eight seconds left. What is usually missing right then is a straight answer — how centered the card really is, what a box returns on average, what a lot is worth before the price runs away.
That is the missing thing: a straight answer, before you decide rather than after. That is what this is.

How we hold ourselves
What we will and will not do
- Numbers with receipts
- Every figure says how much it rests on and when it was measured. A confident number we cannot stand behind is the last thing somebody about to spend money needs.
- Blank over guessed
- Where we do not have enough to show a figure, the page says so and why. A number built on a guess is worse than no number, because you cannot tell.
- The average beside the dream
- The odds of a big pull are always shown next to what a box returns on average, never instead of it.
- No casino tricks
- No streaks, no countdowns, no confetti for spending. Opening packs is fun; being pushed to open more is not.
- Nobody's name
- Buyer names are never shown anywhere on this site.
- Said plainly
- An earlier version of Cardonomics recorded live breaks on streaming platforms. We’ve stopped, and we’re deleting what it kept. Questions go to [email protected].
- Not advice to buy
- Nothing here tells you to buy, open or bid. We would rather give you the numbers than a verdict that decides for you, and nothing here is financial advice.
